Official	1.Personnel of the office in Japan, of a foreign country or international organization, to which the person concerned or the person's family member belonging to the same household belongs. 2.Family member belonging to the same household.
Professor	Personnel of the educational institution in Japan for which the person concerned is going to work.
Artist	Personnel of the organization in Japan, with which the person concerned has a contract, or to which he or she belongs for engaging in artistic activities
Religious Activities	Personnel of the branch office or other relevant religious organization in Japan or foreign religious organization which is sending the person concerned.
Journalist	Personnel of the organization in Japan or the foreign journalistic organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned ; or personnel of the organization in Japan to which the person concerned belongs for engaging in journalistic activities.
Investor/Business Manager	Personnel of the corporation in Japan for which the person concerned is going to engage in operation or management.
Legal/Accounting Services	Personnel of the legal or accounting organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned or to which the person concerned belongs for engaging in legal or accounting services.
Medical Services	Personnel of the medical institution in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned or to which the person concerned belongs for engaging in medical services.
Researcher	Personnel of the organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned.
Instructor	Personnel of the educational institution to which the person concerned belongs for engaging in instruction.
Engineer	Personnel of the organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned.
Specialist in Humanities/International Services	Personnel of the organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned.
Intra-company Transferee	Personnel of the business office in Japan to which the person concerned is going to be transferred.
Entertainer	Personnel of the organization in Japan which invites the person concerned or to which the person concerned belongs for engaging in show business.
Skilled Labor	Personnel of the organization in Japan which has a contract with the person concerned.
Cultural Activities	1.Personnel of the organization in Japan to which the person concerned belongs, for engaging in academic or artistic activities. 2.Expert who is going to guide the person concerned. 3.Relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned.
College Student	1.Personnel of the educational organization in Japan at which the person concerned is going to study. 2.Personnel of the organization which offers scholarship to the person concerned or is going to pay the tuition fees or living expenses incurred by the person concerned. 3.Person who is going to pay the tuition fees or living expenses incurred by the person concerned. 4.Relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned.
Pre-college Student	1.Personnel of the educational organization in Japan at which the person concerned is going to study. 2.Personnel of the organization which has established the student exchange program, if the person concerned is coming to Japan under that program. 3.Relative, living in Japan of the person concerned, if he or she is going to study at high school (including the latter course of secondary educational school).
Trainee	Personnel of the organization in Japan which accepts the person concerned.
Dependent	1.Person who is going to support the person concerned in Japan or relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned. 2.Person who applies or has applied for the certificate of eligibility on behalf of the principal foreign national who supports the person concerned.
Designated Activities	1.Personnel of the organization to which the person concerned belong for the activities designated by the Minister of Justice. 2.Employer of the person concerned.
Spouse or Child of Japanese National	Relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned.
Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident	Relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned.
Long Term Resident	Relative, living in Japan, of the person concerned.
